Peel and trim 3 english cukes. Thinly slice and toss with ½-1 tsp. salt for every 4 c. cuke. Let stand in colander in sink for 30 to drain. Press out moisture in paper towels and toss with dressing below.
Dressing:
¼ c. cider vinegar
2 tsp. sugar
¾ c. oil
½ tsp. chopped dill
Salt and pepper
Shake in shaker jar, toss with cukes and chill.
